Job Title: Embedded Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in requirement reviews to ensure completeness of deployment scenarios, use cases, and testability aspects of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team to build high-quality products within Agile frameworks.
  • Develop acceptance criteria and test cases for stories and verify products against acceptance criteria.
  • Design and develop test strategies for critical modules of products, supporting test engineers in test design reviews.
  • Mitigate architectural risks and participate in design reviews to identify failure modes.
  • Derive regression test strategies based on impact analysis of fixed defects.
  • Prepare test strategies for third-party integrations and dependent hardware, firmware, E-to-E, and compatibility tests.
  • Develop and maintain test infrastructure for security, performance/scale, usability testing of software products.
  • Estimate test effort and collaborate with project leads to plan testing activities.
  • Develop automation scripts and support continuous integration and delivery/deployment.
  • Identify test automation and simulation requirements early in the life cycle and execute them.
  • Work with program managers and product owners to identify beta site requirements and support defect prioritization and release readiness reviews.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or Instrumentation. A minimum of 6+ years of experience in project engineering/testing is required, with at least 2 years in a senior test engineer role.

Experience with test automation tools, DevOps, and defect tracking tools is a must. ISTQB or equivalent test certification and Scrum Alliance certification are also desired.
