Job Title: Ward Assistant

We are looking for a skilled professional to support our team in a hospital ward setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to the ward team, including maintaining accurate patient records and coordinating daily activities;
  2. Assist with patient care tasks, such as helping with personal hygiene, feeding and mobility;
  3. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by being approachable, reliable and flexible;
  4. Develop strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues to ensure effective communication and cooperation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Health Services or related field;
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a hospital ward setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
