About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to oversee and support Alteryx workflows and server environments under our managed services framework.

The role focuses on stability, performance, and integration with enterprise systems, ensuring end-to-end operational excellence through diligent management of Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server environments.

This key position requires strong technical expertise in Windows Server administration and services, as well as proficiency in Oracle SQL and query optimization.

Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark is also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 2/3 application support for Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server environments.
  • Resolve incident issues, job failures, workflow optimizations, and performance bottlenecks effectively.
  • Administer Alteryx Server on Windows (user access, scheduling, deployment, logging).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with Oracle and Big Data platforms.
  • Support version upgrades, patching, and environment migration activities.
  • Develop routine tasks and monitoring using PowerShell or Python scripts.
  • Coordinate with operations, infrastructure, and data teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed support documentation and knowledge base for recurring issues and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years' experience with Alteryx Designer and Server in a support capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server administration and services.
  • Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL and query optimization.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and production support best practices.
  • Effective communication skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
