Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a Proposal Specialist role. This position will be based in India and involves a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least three days of office attendance per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of high-quality proposals for Mercer's US Wealth business by providing critical support and independently managing production.
  • Analyze RFPs and other client materials to gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the pursuit team to resolve open items during the proposal process.
  • Conduct final reviews of proposal drafts to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Assist in the creation of templates, systems, and processes for measuring RFP success and improving proposal efficiency.
  • Manage content, including collecting and updating information for the proposal database and extracting best practice content.
  • Develop proposals for US Investment Consulting services (RFP/RFI/DDQ) based on scope of services outlined in client documents.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred; other postgraduate degrees may also be considered.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pre-sales or bid management environments.
  • Previous experience working as part of bid teams in professional services settings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
