Job Title: Oracle Exadata Database Administrator
About the Role:This senior-level position is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining critical Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), to ensure availability and performance. The successful candidate will develop and sustain multiple clients across various Oracle versions and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and configure Oracle Exadata systems
- Maintain and optimize Oracle databases on OCI
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI
- Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools
- Automate database operations using scripting
- Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams
- Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness
- Minimum 8 years of production database support experience
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
- Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems
- Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard
- Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required
