We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable data solutions in the cloud using cutting-edge technologies like PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue.
  • Data Quality and Availability: Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure high-quality and available data.
  • SQL Query Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data transformation.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Use Git for version control and code collaboration.
  • Scalable Data Lakes: Design and manage scalable data lakes using AWS S3 and related services.
  • Data Storage and Analytics: Work with Amazon DynamoDB and Redshift for high-performance data storage and analytics.
  • Dashboards and Visualization: Create interactive dashboards using Amazon QuickSight.
  • Workflow Automation: Automate workflows with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge.
  • Data Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot data issues and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Proficient in Git and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling.
  • Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
  • AWS certifications in data engineering are a plus.
