Job Title: Data Platform Architect

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data systems on cloud platforms, with strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant architectures. They will be responsible for developing and communicating a clear platform vision to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead the design, implementation, and operation of our data platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of our business while maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines leveraging cloud services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, and security) to define priorities and solve challenges.
  • Develop and communicate a clear platform vision to enable business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.
  • Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven track record in designing and managing large-scale data systems on cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).
  • Advanced skills in Terraform (IaC).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
