Job Description:

Data professionals play a crucial role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive business results and enhance customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include creating optimal data pipeline architecture, identifying process improvements, building infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize data systems.

  • Proficiency in Scala or Python
  • Expertise in Apache Spark
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization
  • DBT is mandatory

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role and hands-on experience with big data tools, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools, and cloud services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills related to working with structured/unstructured datasets, build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, dimensional modeling, metadata, dependency, schema registration/evolution and workload management.

Additionally, the candidate must have working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores, as well as experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
