Job Description:
DB2 Database Administrators are responsible for ensuring high availability, data integrity, and compliance across enterprise-level systems. This includes installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, and maintenance of IBM DB2 databases on z/OS.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer DB2 utilities, maintain database objects, monitor and optimize database and SQL query performance, manage database security, ensure adherence to data governance, and automate routine tasks using scripting languages like REXX, Shell, or Python.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in DB2 administration on z/OS, proven expertise in performance tuning, disaster recovery, and automation, strong knowledge of DB2 DDF and remote connectivity, familiarity with SMP/E, RACF, IBM MQ for z/OS, IMS, and CICS connectivity with DB2. Additionally, candidates should have hands-on experience with DB2 for z/OS (v10–v12), be able to work independently, and hold an IBM Certified Database Administrator – DB2 for z/OS certification or equivalent."]
