Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join a prestigious government project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design, optimization, and maintenance for high availability and scalability, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role is based in Noida, with a 5-day onsite work week.

As this is a government project, personal assets such as mobile phones and laptops will not be allowed during office hours. Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Optimize database performance, queries, and indexing strategies.
  • Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place and tested.
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and resolve system performance issues.
  • Debug and resolve database performance issues using tools like pg

Admin, MySQL Workbench, and APM tools (New Relic, Datadog).

  • Implement database monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for seamless database integration and management.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration.
  • Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and cloud databases (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
  • In-depth understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, and security procedures.
