Senior Data Analyst Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Create and manage metadata, hierarchies, and ownership data to optimize business performance.
  • Develop and manage data forms with attached rules to streamline processes.
  • Design and manage Financial Reporting (FR) and Smart View reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Establish SV connections and create ad-hoc analysis sheets to facilitate decision-making.
  • Run processes like consolidations, translations, Backup and Restore operations, validate metadata, and resolve issues to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage load locations, mappings, and load rules to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Load data, exchange rates, and troubleshoot failures to prevent errors.
  • Validate high-level data and drill down for discrepancies to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the impact of metadata changes and perform impact analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Improve performance by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing processes to increase efficiency.
  • Manage substitution variables and add custom functionality to enhance system capabilities.
  • Use configurable rules to implement new features and improve existing ones.
  • Develop and manage custom rules to tailor the system to specific business needs.
  • Validate data at a detailed level, analyze, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
  • Run and troubleshoot processes in Process Manager to prevent errors.
  • Integrate using EPM Automate to streamline workflows.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in creating and managing metadata, hierarchies, and ownership data.
  • Ability to develop and manage data forms with attached rules.
  • Experience in designing and managing Financial Reporting (FR) and Smart View reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
