CAE Steering Wheels Expert

The Simulation Engineer will independently manage and execute CAE activities, focusing on component-level safety systems primarily steering wheels. Proficiency in tools such as Hypermesh, Abaqus, and LS-Dyna is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute meshing and simulation projects with minimal guidance and full ownership.
• Deliver quality results on time.
• Learn and adopt new tools, processes, and methods to execute diverse tasks.
• Support simulation activities across multiple TC's for steering wheel projects.
• Take responsibility and ownership of personal deliverables and support team activities.
• Perform conclusive analysis of test and simulation results to drive improvements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Be flexible to work in different shifts to support multiple ALV sites.

Functional Competencies:

• FEA Tools: Pre-Processor → Hypermesh and Abaqus CAE. Solver → Abaqus, OptiStruct, LS-Dyna (optional).
• Ownership: Support all CAE activities.

• Execution Management: Manage and execute projects.
• Accountability: Adhere to set processes and implement improvements.

Education & Experience:

• Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering.
• Certifications/Accreditations: Trainings and certifications related to CAE software preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant CAE experience. Automotive domain experience is an added advantage.
• Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi.
• Other: Adaptability to changing business scenarios and flexibility to work in shifts.
