IT Administrator Role:

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to provide technical support and maintain our company's systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer assistance with hardware, software, and network issues for employees.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Install and update software across our systems.
  • Detect, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Evaluate and implement measures for regular data backups and contribute to our data security efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain our local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (mandatory).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Network concepts, including IP addresses, DNS, routers, switches.
  • Hardware components, such as computers, printers, servers.
  • Office productivity software, like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Desirable Skills:

  • IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
