Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping and Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing piping systems, as well as fire protection systems.

About the Role:
As a Senior Piping and Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for:
• Designing and detailed engineering of infrastructure services like water supply systems, stormwater drainage systems, sewerage systems, water/effect plant, solid waste management etc.
• Interpreting drawings, understanding BOQs along with sewerage, drainage & other PHE works.
• Working on commercial awareness and understanding of project briefs.
• Understanding sustainability issues and their impact upon PHE design.
• Collaborating with BIM360 platform.
• Having sound knowledge of NBC NFPA Codes.
• Performing plumbing calculations including water supply, storm, and equipment sizes.
• Designing plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
• Scheduling, quantity take-off, and details.
• Clash detection and resolution.
• Possessing excellent plumbing knowledge and expertise in AutoCad and Revit.
• Developing good communication skills.
• Reviewing architectural and firefighting plans in accordance with applicable fire & life safety codes.
• Preparing fire & life safety strategy reports and providing proactive advice to clients regarding design compliance.
• Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking required review services.
• Ensuring thorough understanding of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000 and each of the relevant design standards such as NFPA 13, 14, 72, 92 etc.
• Designing fire pump rooms and UG tanks design.
• Knowledge of gas suppression systems design.
• Utilizing all necessary architectural and design software (CAD and Rivet).
• Having experienced in CFD modeling and smoke management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or architecture).
• At least 5 years of experience in piping and fire protection design, preferably with an engineering firm.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations (NBC NFPA Codes).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCad and Revit) and other architectural design tools.
• Experience with BIM360 platform and CFD modeling is a plus.
