Job Title: Senior Data Protection Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Data Protection Manager to lead our organization's privacy program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of data protection policies and procedures across our operations.

Your primary focus will be on managing and maintaining data mapping and data flow across existing and new entities, as well as updating our data inventory in line with regulatory requirements.

You will also be responsible for assessing group-level privacy program requirements, ensuring that our program development meets all necessary standards, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the organization's data protection framework, ensuring it aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage and maintain data mapping and data flow across existing and new entities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Update the organization's data inventory, including reviewing and updating current guidelines, to reflect changing data classification requirements.
  • Assess group-level privacy program requirements, ensuring that our program development meets all necessary standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on data protection matters, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Proven experience in leading data protection programs, including policy development, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
