Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Java and related test frameworks.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch or improve existing frameworks to enable efficient, scalable test automation.
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to write Cucumber feature files, implement step definitions, and perform tests based on business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java for test automation.
  • Experience with API automation, test frameworks, and continuous integration.
  • Expertise in Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), writing feature files, and implementing step definitions.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5-9 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or in a similar QA automation role.
