Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using JAVA/C#/Selenium.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with automated testing tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Ensure high-quality automation results by analyzing and debugging issues.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Automation testing with expertise in API and GUI applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language, Selenium, Restful APIs, SQL, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as part of an Agile Release Train in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Prior experience working on Mortgage Loan Servicing System or process would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Experience with OpenShift (OCP) platform.
