Automation Test Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium and Java.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts: Utilize your expertise in Selenium and Java to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts that ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.
  • Configure and manage test executions: Leverage your knowledge of Jenkins and Maven to configure and manage test executions, including continuous integration, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of automated tests.
  • Implement TestNG framework: Apply your skills in TestNG to effectively manage and execute test cases, optimizing the test process and improving overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate within Agile methodology: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive project success and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines: Design and implement efficient Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of automated tests, streamlining the testing process and reducing manual effort.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Ensure test case management: Effectively manage and integrate test cases into the CI/CD pipeline, guaranteeing timely and accurate delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and expertise to meet evolving project demands.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Selenium: Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Selenium for web automation.
  • Strong Java programming skills: Proven ability to write efficient and effective Java code.
  • Jenkins experience: Familiarity with configuring and managing Jenkins for continuous integration.
  • TestNG knowledge: Understanding of TestNG principles and their application in automated testing.
  • Maven build automation: Experience with utilizing Maven for build automation.
  • Agile methodology adherence: Commitment to working within an Agile framework, following principles and practices that promote collaboration, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
