Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer – Cloud Services

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will join our scrum team and contribute to the Fusion Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM).

  • MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core data framework for Cloud Flagship Product.
  • You will work with a global development group and a scrum team with 6-7 engineers.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and validate MFGDM modules/components.
  • Collaborate with other scrum teams located in Shanghai or in other sites around the world.
  • Build quality of work delivered and develop tools to improve high-quality services development.
  • Carry out best engineering practices into own work.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of software development experience in commercialized products or big-scale systems.
  • Experience in Typescript, Nodejs, C++.
  • Experience building apps on AWS using services such as Step functions, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Exposure with cloud projects development experience.
  • Willingness to take challenges and stretch comfortable zone to grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Rich hands-on project experience in full-stack cloud services development.
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.
  • Solid C++, Typescript skills.
  • Experience working in Agile process is needed.
