Job Title: Senior Microsoft Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Active Directory migrations, consolidation, and restructuring. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing large-scale AD transformations ensuring minimal downtime maximum security seamless integration related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Active Directory migration and restructuring projects including forest/domain consolidations upgrades reorganizations.
  • Assess existing AD environments identify gaps technical debt opportunities optimization.
  • Design secure scalable compliant AD architectures following Microsoft best practices.
  • Plan Execute migration activities including user group computer policy transfers domain controller deployment trust configuration.
  • Integrate AD related Microsoft technologies Azure AD M365 SCCM DHCP File/Print etc.
  • Implement group policies OU structures delegation models meet business security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex AD replication authentication trust issues across multi-site environments.
  • Collaborate security teams ensure compliance identity governance regulatory requirements.
  • Document designs processes post-migration configurations operational handover.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years hands-on Microsoft infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Proven track record large-scale Active Directory migrations restructures.
  • Strong knowledge Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) AD DS concepts.
  • Expertise AD site topology FSMO roles DNS replication trusts.
  • Experience PowerShell scripting automation AD tasks.
  • Familiarity Azure Active Directory hybrid identity solutions.
  • Understanding security best practices identity access management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor degree engineering Computer Science related field.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity Access Administrator Associate higher.
  • Experience Azure IaaS PKI certificate services.
  • Knowledge MIM (Microsoft Identity Manager) other identity governance tools.
  • Experience mergers acquisitions divestitures involving AD consolidation.
  • Exposure cloud-based directory services identity synchronization.
