System Security Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineer to join our organization.

This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of our systems by leveraging 8+ years of experience in information security or compliance engineering roles.

  • A thorough understanding of DevOps security practices, including integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines, is essential for this position.
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge base of ISO 27001, SOC 2 (Type I and II), and NIST SP 800-53 is also crucial.
  • The successful candidate will work in cloud-native environments with secure configuration and governance controls.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible is necessary.
  • Solid knowledge of access management, encryption, logging/monitoring, and network security principles is required.
  • This position involves leading technical initiatives, working cross-functionally, and influencing at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing policies and technical documentation, are essential.

Requirements:

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or AWS Security Specialty are required.
  • Experience with compliance automation platforms is beneficial.
  • A background in regulated industries such as fintech, healthcare, or government is advantageous.
