We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee our payable processes. The ideal candidate will assume ownership of critical financial responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rental & Expansion Payments: Process and track rental-related payments and expenses for business expansions.
- Franchise Payments: Manage and reconcile franchise-related payables.
- Advance & MSME Payable Aging: Monitor advance payments and MSME payable aging to ensure timely clearance and compliance with regulations.
- Invoice/Bill Processing:
- Check and approve invoices for accuracy (GL coding verification, TDS & GST compliance).
- Perform bill verification against purchase orders and contracts.
- Purchase Order (PO) Management:
- Review and approve POs for accuracy (GL coding, TDS & GST checks).
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies or queries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities for accounts payable.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and general accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
