Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative concepts and mechanisms for mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create novel product designs utilizing 3D modeling software such as Solidworks or Creo.
  • Develop and manage component lifecycles, ensuring seamless integration with production processes.
  • Apply good knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, sheet metal designs, and castings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and manufacturability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design, applying relevant knowledge to improve products and processes.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
  • Hands-on expertise in 3D modeling and proficiency in Solidworks or Creo.
  • Experience with FEM simulation, GD&T applications, and ECN/ECR processes is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material selection criteria.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
