We are seeking a Data Engineering professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimising data driven products and services.

Job Description

The Senior Data Engineer will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, design and architect future-state solutions, and assist in process and performance optimization for data access.

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical product data models
  • Assist in process and performance optimization for data access
  • Database tuning and optimisation
  • Help guide and mentor less experienced software developers
  • Support and resolve base product defects and incidents client testing and production environments
Technical Requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data products, creating secure data solutions, and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

  • Experience in designing and implementing data products
  • Experience creating secure data solutions including avoidance and mitigation patterns for relevant current and previous OWASP top-10
  • Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Life Sciences and / or Pharmacovigilance related data sets and standards, e.g. E2B R2 / R3, MedDRA, IDMP
  • Developing Healthcare or Life Sciences data products for regulated environments

To succeed in this role, you will need strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
