Cyber Security Specialist Opportunity

This is a chance to shape the future of cybersecurity and risk posture. As part of the Threat & Vulnerability Management team, you'll collaborate across business, IT, and client environments to secure cloud and data center infrastructure. Your contributions will be key to strengthening defense mechanisms and enhancing compliance posture.

What You Will Contribute

  • Detect, identify, and analyze vulnerabilities across various environments.
  • Assess the risk of detected vulnerabilities to determine true impact.
  • Support stakeholders as an expert to understand technical details of vulnerabilities and steps to carry out remediation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track issues until closure.
  • Act as an expert for new projects in terms of vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • Manage, maintain, and tune tools used to support the VM process.
  • Stay updated with the latest security and technology developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in vulnerability management specialist role.
  • Experience with security vulnerability detection technology required.
  • Subject-matter expert level understanding in multiple IT, Security and Software disciplines.
  • Ability to understand application vulnerabilities with Operating System Vulnerabilities.
  • Multi-tasking and keeping track of large amounts of information across disparate systems.
  • Defining strategy/policy with regards to Enterprise.
  • Adherent to 'continuous monitoring' and 'continuous improvement' thought process.
  • Tech skills: OS flavors, network technologies and topologies.
  • Security expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Effective communication and translation of solutions in business terms.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or others.
  • Moderate documentation and analytical skills.
  • Troubleshooting skills across complex applications, server, and endpoint environments.
  • Learning onboard and adapting to new technologies.
  • Privileged access management/right management experience.
  • Basics knowledge of malware operation, indicators or threat.
  • Current threat landscape knowledge.
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
