Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams during the design phase, authoring technical approaches to building features, and breaking down, refining, and delivering work with your team.

Daily tasks include microservices development, testing, CI/CD, participating in scrum activities, and collaborating with Support, Product Management, and other Service Teams.

Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, Python
  • Knowledge of microservices frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut
  • Experience building interfaces, including JSON REST APIs, GraphQL
  • Familiarity with container-based deployment like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Additional skill in one or more of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis

Functional Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with a public cloud platform like AWS, Azure, Oracle
  • Experience developing distributed, fault-tolerant applications
  • Agile Methodologies expertise, specifically Scrum
  • Ability to quickly pick up new languages and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, including cross-team collaboration
