Cloud Engineering Position

This role involves the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures for large-scale AI-based products and services.
  • Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient AI model deployment and updates.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers to transform prototypes into production-ready solutions.
  • Implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation.
  • Develop & maintain network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Collect requirements, design service & resource configuration, and implement configuration for GCP and Azure resources/services.
  • Configure and manage VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity solutions.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
  • Collaborate with MSPs remotely to transition client's existing on-prem network devices, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
  • Experience working with network scanning tools to determine access points & potential vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Operations Suite, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
  • Implement and manage security measures, including policies, encryption, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and network engineering trends, technologies, best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Contribute to the development of RFPs, PoCs, and client proposals.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI innovations including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and foundation models (GPT, Gemini, Copilot).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
  • Experience with network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud security measures, including firewalls, load balancers, and encryption.
  • Ability to monitor and optimize network performance.
  • Experience working with MSPs and managing network transitions.
  • Proficiency in automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
  • Understanding of network scanning tools and ability to troubleshoot network-related issues.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure monitoring tools like Google Cloud Operations Suite, Datadog, and Splunk.
