Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

As a cloud infrastructure specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient infrastructure platforms to support business growth. Your expertise in DevOps and cloud technologies will enable our teams to develop and deploy applications quickly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build scalable and efficient infrastructure platforms using cloud-based technologies.
  • Develop and implement containerization strategies to improve application deployment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end deployment processes.
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices for infrastructure automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing, DevOps, and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • 9-12 years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity).
  • Ability to define and implement advanced aspects of cloud infrastructure using service mesh technologies like Istio and Linkerd.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl) and hands-on experience in designing pipelines and pipelines as code.
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end deployment process and strategy, good exposure to tools and technologies used in building a container-based infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of computing, networks, IAM, security, and integration services with production knowledge on implementing strategies for reliability requirements, ensuring business continuity, meeting performance objectives, security requirements, and controls, deployment strategies for business requirements, cost optimization, etc.
Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of load balancing, CDN options provided by multiple cloud vendors.
  • Good knowledge of network algorithms on failover and availability.
  • Capability to write complex code and automate recurring tasks, OS administration, CPU, memory, network performance troubleshooting, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrate HA/DR design on Cloud platform as per SLAs/RTO/RPO.
  • Good knowledge of migration tools available with cloud vendors and independent providers.
