Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) expert to join our team as a highly skilled administrator.

This role will involve administering complete OCI environments, including tenancy, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OCI infrastructure and be able to configure and manage it effectively.

  • Administer complete Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments with a strong understanding of tenancy, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options.
  • Configure and manage OCI infrastructure, including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, administration, and monitoring.
  • Develop and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and to manage OCI infrastructure.
  • Optimize resource usage by configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required, ensuring high availability of infrastructure.
  • Apply operating system patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Configure and provision Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts, and Public Load Balancers.
  • Provision storage, compute nodes, and networks while understanding the requirements for each.
  • Experience with IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, networks, on-premise, hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local, and cloud storage.
  • Handle certificate renewals on OCI and have a strong understanding of high availability architecture in an OCI environment.
  • Understand and implement HA concepts in DR and set up HA infrastructure for DR sites.
  • Migrate data and applications using migration tools and experience with performance management and cost optimization.
  • Analyze solution designs that meet business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Assist in design decisions, develop, and implement cloud solutions.

Credentials:

  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional (Mandatory)
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)

Work Experience: 4-10 years
