Senior Synthetic Research Chemist

The position of Synthetic Chemist is open to individuals with a strong background in chemistry, seeking to contribute their expertise in the field of synthetic chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a range of chemical reactions and processes including reaction workups, purification of compounds, and operating lab equipment.
- Ensure that samples generated during synthesis are sent for analysis and record subsequent results obtained and update the supervisor/group leader on the progress of synthesis.
- Document experiment observations, reaction results, resource utilization, and other activities related to the reaction in the laboratory or e-notebook following guidelines and in a timely manner.
- 3-6 years experience in synthetic chemistry
- Master's degree in general or organic chemistry
- Deep knowledge of concepts in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms
- Able to independently solve complex synthetic problems
- Excellent skills in purification and analytical interpretation
- Familiarity with operation of relevant apparatus, instruments, and equipment
