Electrical Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Manager to lead our electrical design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing DC SMPS based Power Systems for telecom and industrial requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning projects from conceptual design to completion, providing technical support to internal and external customers, and ensuring that all designs meet the required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute projects for process improvements and new products as per Quality Management System requirements.
  • Provide proactive and contemporary engineering support to production and quality teams.
  • Customer interface to understand their requirement.
  • NPI (New Product Introduction) & Prototyping.
  • Validate and characterize prototypes.
  • Maintain files and records in conformity with technical norms, while facilitating easy retrieval of records in case of audits.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design software.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical designing of electrical panels/UPS panels- ACDB/DCDB/MCC/PCC.
  • Knowledge of electrical switchgear/cables & bus-bar sizing/mechanical designing/wire harness/product quality & safety norms/testing of panels.
  • Project Management Skills.
