Electrical Design Engineer Job

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems for various applications including data centres, industrial, municipal and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing electrical systems for water treatment plants and industrial facilities
  • Developing electrical schematics, single line diagrams and load calculations
  • Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design and smooth project execution
  • Preparing detailed technical specifications, datasheets and reports for procurement and construction
  • Reviewing vendor documents and providing technical support during procurement and installation
  • Ensuring all electrical designs adhere to relevant national and international standards

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years' experience in designing electrical systems. Strong communication skills, project management skills and proficiency in electrical design tools such as ETAP and Power Factory are essential. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards and regulations are also desirable.
