Job Role:

As a strategic tax advisory professional, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients on tax planning and compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and achieve optimal tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage advisory engagements for Indian and foreign multinational companies (MNCs) involving mergers, demergers, business and share acquisitions, investment structuring, and joint ventures.
  • Support clients throughout the business lifecycle by conducting detailed quantitative analysis, managing seamless execution of plans, and applying effective structuring strategies to help achieve their commercial and strategic goals.
  • Devising practical approaches to resolving tax issues in structuring assignments and conducting comprehensive reviews of business operations to identify tax planning opportunities and compliance gaps.
  • Proactively communicating, responding, and sharing updates with clients on a regular basis.
  • Be the central point of contact and liaison with client stakeholders, Partner/Principal, local stakeholders, and the team.
Additional Duties:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with CFOs and Tax Directors, creating a high-quality professional network.
  • Identifying new business opportunities in existing clients by keenly keeping track of developments at the client end, tax arena, and overall industry trends.
  • Representing and endorsing the firm's expertise and scope of service at various external forums.
  • Providing guidance to the team, proactively enabling them to deliver on assignments.
  • Reviewing available information and assessing the data/documents required from clients, researching and scrutinizing all aspects of the assignment with the team to ideate and provide optimal solutions.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of taxation laws and regulations in India.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory environments, and industry trends.
