The Role
We're seeking an experienced Regional Counsel to join our India-based team. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance on intellectual property, internet law, and regulatory matters. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of the technology sector, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all aspects of our operations in India.
Your Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and lead to closure commercial agreements covering a wide range of activities.
- Conduct legal reviews of product, marketing, and business initiatives, working in consultation with government affairs representatives to provide practical advice for launches and innovation.
- Advise executive management and project teams on contractual covenants and potential legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Respond to legal requests from various functional groups, including Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Tax, Finance, and others.
- Collaborate with external counsel on specific matters, providing expert advice as needed.
