Smart Buildings Architect Role
  • We are looking for a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the technical authority of architecture design and pre and post-sales support of small to midsize offers across multiple segments.
  • This role requires a strong foundation in infrastructure and architectures of OT and IT systems, as well as experience with cloud SaaS offers and Microsoft Azure.

About this role:

  • Provide technical authority and governance, risk assessments, GAP analysis, and technical sign off for Integrated solutions.
  • Technical Governance and Authority for all SMB opportunities.
  • Create secure, standardized reference architectures which are repeatable and scalable.
  • Define and set up Proof of Concepts systems creating tested, validated, and documented architectures.
  • Design, develop, and customize user interfaces according to customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage documents including function design specifications, FAT, and SAT test documents.
  • Provide technical presales support and product/solution demonstrations.
  • Work with technical teams to manage and coordinate SMB offers from conception through to delivery.
  • Develop and validate the right design and specification for large scale deployments.
  • Write standardization documentation and templates for the solution.
  • Animate community of Solution and Segment architects to drive awareness and create solution offer templates.
  • Assist in the creation of technical notes, lessons learned, white papers, prescription, and specification documents.
  • Collaborate, influence new offers with RD Offer Management.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of infrastructure and architectures of OT and IT systems.
  • Technical background on implementation of cloud SaaS offers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, automation, network.
