Job Description

We are seeking a skilled C++ developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge trading systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with multithreading, synchronization mechanisms, and memory management in C++. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining software components that use raw sockets for packet capture and analysis, optimizing raw socket performance to minimize packet loss, and implementing solutions for capturing and analyzing network traffic using PCAP.

Additionally, they will utilize tools like libpcap and Tcpdump to filter and process specific packet types, design and implement multithreaded applications to enhance system performance and scalability, and ensure thread safety in shared data structures using synchronization mechanisms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a relevant field is required.
  • Proven experience in C++ development, preferably in a low-latency or HFT environment, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in multithreading and synchronization mechanisms in C++ is essential.
  • Expertise in memory management, including the use of smart pointers and custom memory pools, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cache coherency and techniques to optimize cache performance is desired.
  • Familiarity with motherboard and CPU architecture, and how it impacts system performance, is also beneficial.
  • Experience with CPU flags and their usage in software optimization is a plus.
