Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the end-to-end management of Ship Building projects within our shipyard.
  • This role reports directly to the Head of Planning & Project Management.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, resource allocation, and materials management.
  • They will coordinate with production and support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Achieving project milestones on time and within scope is a critical aspect of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will align projects with quality standards throughout execution.
  • Project execution from initiation to completion requires strong leadership skills.
  • This position involves coordinating various commercial, engineering, production, and support functions.
  • The role ensures project alignment with overall business objectives of the organization.
  • Fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders is essential for success.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree in project management or an MBA is an added advantage.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management within a Ship Building or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in handling large-scale engineering projects, managing cross-functional teams, and working in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Key skills include Project Management Expertise, Technical Acumen, Leadership & People Management, Communication & Interpersonal Skills, Financial Management, and Technical Proficiency.
