We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Wedding Services Business Development Manager to join our team at The Wedding Company (Previously Betterhalf). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of India's largest wedding planning and fulfillment company, disrupting the $130 billion market with annual $10 M GMV.
About the Role:This key position will focus on cultivating relationships with potential clients and promoting our high Average Selling Price (ASP) wedding services in a compelling and persuasive manner. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets while providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable and stress-free experience for our clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Cultivate Relationships: Conduct thorough consultations with prospective clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Promote High-Value Services: Present and showcase our premium wedding services in a compelling and persuasive manner to demonstrate their unique value proposition.
- Develop Customized Proposals: Collaborate with expert wedding planners to create customized proposals and quotations based on clients' requirements and budget considerations.
- Sales Conversion: Convince clients to close sales and secure bookings for wedding services against a pre-decided token amount for booking.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including event planners, vendors, and support staff, to ensure a seamless sales pitch that meets industry-leading standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets using CRM software.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Client Support: Provide ongoing support and follow-up to clients throughout the wedding planning process to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proficient in English and Hindi communication.
- Sales Acumen: Possess a flair for sales and the ability to handle clients with confidence.
- Fresher or 0-1 Year Experience: Ideal candidate should have a go-getter attitude and strong knowledge of wedding services, trends, and vendors.
- Results-Oriented Mindset: Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
