This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and take on key responsibilities in designing, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure on AWS.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and DevOps concepts. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, excellent time management and communication skills, and a willingness to learn new skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs, performing log analysis and implementing monitoring tools to ensure application health, administering Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning, leading incident response efforts, and working closely with development teams to optimize application infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
  • Perform log analysis and implement monitoring tools to ensure application health.
  • Administer Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Lead incident response efforts.
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize application infrastructure.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku), expertise in monitoring tools and log analysis (AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, Logtail), familiarity with DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes, and certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is also required.
