Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and governance of systems while adhering to best practices for service delivery. Your typical day will involve developing, deploying, and supporting infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives, all while collaborating with various teams to align with existing standards and methods of delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
  • Contribute actively in team discussions.
  • Provide solutions to work-related problems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures to enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration is a must.

- Strong understanding of system architecture and operational best practices is required.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation tasks is necessary.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance is essential.

- Knowledge of network protocols and security practices is desired.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration.
  • 15 years full-time education.
