Global CAD Infrastructure Lead: Design, Optimization, and Automation

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and optimization of global CAD infrastructure for worldwide design teams.

The role involves leading a transformation of our CAD-Infrastructure setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Advanced Features: Define, architect, and implement advanced features such as fair share and preemption in LSF.
  • Lead the Transformation: Collaborate with global teams to re-design and optimize CAD-Infrastructure LSF setups.
  • Architect Development Environments: Develop, test, and deploy development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate Key Processes: Automate key infrastructure processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Ensure High Availability: Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Maintain and Enhance: Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 8+ Years of Experience: With experience in LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.
  • Linux Systems Expertise: Strong expertise in LINUX systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management.
  • Automation Scripting: Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN).
  • Version Control Tools: Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) is a plus.
  • EDA Tools Understanding: Understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases is highly desirable.
