Job Summary:

The GSOC Operator role at Pinkerton is a dynamic opportunity to lead day-to-day activities assigned by Supervisors during shifts within the client centre. This position involves managing alarms, assessing priorities, and dispatching accordingly, ensuring seamless support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all interactions.
  • Process email communications regarding alarms according to established procedures.
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions, including proper handover of pending alarms and action lists.
  • Accurately manage alarms, determine priorities, and dispatch accordingly, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Update tickets received, assign tasks based on concerns, and complete follow-up and closure.
  • Create tickets for malfunctioning and excessive alarms, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Business Account Coordinator (BAC) during shifts to complete necessary tasks and provide support.
  • Manage general use of security cameras, report issues, and update the Shift Supervisor on escalation for remedial actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

Pinkerton seeks candidates with a graduate degree and one to three years of experience in BMS, command centre, and/or security. Freshers with strong communication skills are also encouraged to apply, as Pinkerton values diversity and inclusivity.

Working Conditions:

The GSOC Operator role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions, including regular computer usage, occasional reaching and lifting, and frequent sitting.
