Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive the development of next-generation solutions for commercial banking services, digital, and payment channels.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software according to industry standards, policies, procedures, security, and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement modernized and sustainable technology roadmaps and analyze technical requirements to implement software solutions.

Additionally, you will contribute to building and maintaining large-scale planning of strategies, including upgrades and deployments, and work closely with engineering managers, product owners, and teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Other responsibilities include working with internal IT teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments, proactively managing risk through implementation of right controls, escalating where required, and providing strong verbal and written communication skills to work in a global development environment.

Key qualifications for this role include 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or PySpark), big query (GCP), and UNIX experience software enterprise application development using continuous integration and delivery when developing code.

Experience in the Banking/Financial technology domain is highly preferred.

  • Reviewing moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluations of technologies and procedures.
  • Resolving moderately complex issues and leading teams to meet client needs or potential new clients' needs, leveraging a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating and consulting with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
