Senior Capital Markets Specialist

About the Role

This is a high-profile position that demands exceptional deal execution, client advisory, and market transaction management skills. As a key member of the team, you will lead capital market transactions, advise clients on equity fundraising strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex capital market transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Bonds, and other similar deals.
  • Develop and implement effective equity fundraising strategies, aligning market positioning and transaction structuring to meet client objectives.
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end deal execution, from due diligence to drafting offer documents, coordinating with regulators, and liaising with merchant bankers, legal advisors, and auditors.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuations, and transaction feasibility studies to inform business decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, HNIs, merchant bankers, law firms, and intermediaries.
  • Stay up-to-date on capital market trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to drive business growth.
  • Support the preparation of pitch decks, investor presentations, and transaction reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver seamless execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates must hold a CA/ Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Commerce, and possess 5-6 years of proven experience in capital markets, investment banking, or financial advisory.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on deal execution experience in IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, Bonds, or similar transactions, along with strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, listing guidelines, and compliance frameworks.

Exceptional analytical, research, and financial modeling skills are essential, as is excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

A well-established network with market participants, including investors and intermediaries, is highly valued.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deals simultaneously is crucial for success in this role.
