Job Title: Data Quality Assurance Specialist

Our company seeks a detail-oriented and highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our data engineering team.

  • This position involves designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Pandas, REST API, and testing, as well as a solid understanding of data validation, data processing, and quality assurance frameworks.

We require the following skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Experience with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

About the Role:

Data Validation and Transformation

The Senior Data Testing Engineer will be responsible for validating data integrity across various sources, including APIs and databases. They will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Collaboration and Communication

The ideal candidate will collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Technical Skills

The candidate should have hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar, as well as a solid understanding of data validation, data processing, and quality assurance frameworks. Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
