About the GROW Program

The GROW program is a skill development initiative for young Indians from low-income households. The program addresses the vast disconnect between the demand and supply of skilled human resources in the job market.

Program Overview

The program offers a 60-days training program on core employability skills to ensure a significant skill shift among trainees. Trainees are provided with placement opportunities after the training, allowing them to gain practical experience in their chosen field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training sessions on an integrated module that covers English Grammar, Spoken English, MS Office, Basic Mathematics, Soft Skills, and Work Readiness.
  • Publish and follow a comprehensive training plan/calendar for the center.
  • Support in conducting assessments of trainees to evaluate their progress and understanding.
  • Provide post-placement counseling to trainees to help them transition smoothly into their new roles.
  • Nurture relationships with guest lecturers/industry professionals to arrange field visits as part of the sector readiness module.
  • Offer support to trainees at their workplaces (for a short duration) after placement to ensure a smooth transition.
