Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Career Cloud Specialist to administer and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and troubleshooting infrastructure services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing instances of cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud servers, as well as ensuring knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery.

This role involves deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG etc., using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.

The Career Cloud Specialist will work with Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates) and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Azure cloud platform and multi-platform solutions.

In addition, the selected individual will demonstrate expertise in containers, including orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

A solid understanding of Azure DevOps, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos, is also required.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • 2-4 years experience in administrating Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS services.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands on experience in Azure Cloud infra.
  • Knowledge of Azure services used for Backup and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience deploying and managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, NSG, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent IaC automation tools and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Azure cloud platform and awareness of multi-platform solutions and capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of containers including orchestration with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • General working knowledge of Kubernetes design and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps including Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Repos.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior ITIL Foundations Certification is an asset. Desired certifications include AZ 104, Azure Developer, and Azure DevOps Engineer. Experience with Linux, PowerShell, BASH, and additional technology areas such as scripting languages and data experience is beneficial.

Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role. A solid interpersonal skill set and ability to collaborate with delivery engineering teams is also necessary.
