The Role

This exciting opportunity will see you join our dynamic team, working on the development of state-of-the-art automated driving systems.

You will play a key role in supporting the creation of future ADAS system generations, which will see our vehicle progressing to full autonomous driving by 2030.

To achieve this vision, we are working on specific software functionalities developments that aim to build in-house software modules to maximise components reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work in multiple-disciplinary teams to mentor junior SW engineers and clearly communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand requirements and come up with high-level design and decompose them into detailed design.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Create software detailed design and support implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Critically understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills and liaise with wider global teams within the organisation.
Requirements
  • Total 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in application design and development.
  • Should have worked in a complex automotive project owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation.
  • Experienced in design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.
