Position Overview
  • As a primary contact, you will manage relationships with a defined number of customers and prospects.
  • You will oversee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and conduct monthly performance reviews with customers.
  • Manage Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Business Process Reviews (BPRs) with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and deliver regional and/or country customer budget through proactive thinking.
  • Evaluate Key Account activities against global/regional sector strategy.
  • Collaborate on regional customer initiatives and implement the global business plan.
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) on customer enquiries, account planning, and business reviews.
  • Provide regular updates to BDMs and executive sponsors, ensuring awareness of critical business issues.
  • Consult with BDMs and Sector Heads on potential solutions and best practices.
  • Collect relevant customer information for Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and prepare documents for customer implementation.
  • Achieve financial targets through timely billing, accounts receivable collection, and DSO/DPO management.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • 10+ years of experience in domestic and international logistics, covering FTL, LTL, NVOCC, air freight, small package, warehousing, import/export consolidations, world distributions, and project cargo/heavy bulk.
  • A background in Customs operations/Key accounts is essential.
  • Superior IT skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and listen effectively.
