Role Overview:
The Tendering Specialist is responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting tenders for infrastructure projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
1. Track government and private e-procurement portals daily for relevant tenders.
2. Evaluate eligibility criteria, scope of work, and risks before participating.
3. Prepare tender synopsis and present feasibility reports to management.
- Tender Preparation & Submission
4. Coordinate with estimation, design, finance, and legal teams for inputs.
5. Compile technical & financial bids as per client requirements.
6. Ensure timely submission of bids (online/offline) with complete documentation.
- Cost Estimation & Pricing
7. Work with the estimation team to prepare competitive pricing.
8. Analyze BOQ, material, manpower, and subcontracting requirements.
9. Recommend pricing strategies based on competitor analysis.
- Liaison & Coordination
10. Coordinate with government bodies, consultants, and clients for clarifications.
11. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
12. Follow-up on tender results and maintain relationships with authorities.
- Documentation & Compliance
13. Maintain updated vendor registrations, certificates, and statutory compliances.
14. Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and technical documentation in tenders.
15. Maintain tender MIS reports, success ratios, and competitor insights.
